In response to a different thread for a similar setup I believe the guy wasn't telling the entire truth when he indicated it was a fittable loadout.  It wasn't.

This is my setup which I have been using for some time now and though it is very similar you simly have to have the RCU II to fit the 8th 425mm.

However, I find this setup to be near perfect for missions.  The double hardeners take the resists over 85 on their respective types leaving the LAR II very little to do even when I gain full room agro occasionally.

I will be trying to upgrade my LAR II to a Core X shortly so will test that on EFT and after using it for a while, feedback its effects on Cap and if its really required.

The ship does about 150 without the MWD so its not horrifically slow.

It sustains cap pretty well...  After a 30 min mission today it was not even half eaten with all 4 hardeners, the LAR and 8 425mm's on full.

Targeting range is 75KM and it does some pretty good damage even at that range with the FNA L's.

That's about it.  A very sturdy gentle giant.

    Yeh,

Thats pretty much what I thought...  I will try the Core X repper on it and see if thats overkill/too high risk but thats about it.

Nice setup. I do like the Core-X on this as well. Makes a big difference as you say. As for the cap, have you considered actually switching one CCC for another ANP? I don't know your skills, but for me it still perma-runs all modules fine. Would get your tank nearly to that of a standard dual-repped Domi. Still very nice.

That's a good call actually.  I will look in to that this weekend and see what I can do with it...

    Thanks

I am going to swap the CCC for a Nanobot Accelerator I and test it out over the weekend and change the setup here if it works better...

Sorry. A Megathron can fit 7 rails but 2 mag stabs and do xactly 100dps more. Only way this ship can outdamage megathron is with a mag stab. Right now it's only using more ammo and costs more.

Its a pretty old loadout lol, but if your interested on a hyper capable of out damaging a mega, follow this http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/17161-LVL-4-PVE-Hyperion-425mm.html
