Tired of those pesky little inty's harrassing you? cant seem to hit them? do they run when you hit them?

Drop a gang of these on them and see them burst in flames as you deliver volley after volley from afar. And what do you do if they come in close? You switch to your javelin ammo and fire harder.

you can hit any inty orbiting and most inty's that you meet

Rigs are optional, but if you have a gang that focuses on range and huge numbers, there is not much that can stand up to a fleet of these ships.

    i had a full t1 version of this and i almost killed 2 crow's before i popped, had done the mistake of going solo, 1 went into 20% hull left and the other one had 20% armor before the first warped and the second got me, to bad my gunnery skills sucks hey :lol:

    i use a similar fit on a cat, so many people completely ignore the bonuses for destroyers.  I will post my cat fit for comparison.

    with spike and max skills it is 71, with javelin it is 127.  Cormerant has more range then a cat, but has slightly less DPS so depends on what is more important to ya.

    We use destroyer gangs on ocasion for wolfpacks, a large group of these can do massive damamge to just about anything.  But this fit is very specific for use in large wolfpacks or anti-frig/interceptor ect...

    if ur in big enough gangs u could take out just about anything that comes your way, but stealt bombers will be a bad enemy to engage if he decides to fire

    tried this setup on the test server, and well dont try soloing a trasher  :lol:  my gunnery skills sux but i could hit inty's going around 5-6k ms 60-70km from me. as you see my gunnery sux bigtime.

    Drop the T2 ammo, it kills your tracking.  Faction ammo gives better tracking with an insignificant DPS loss.

    Drop the T2 ammo, it kills your tracking.  Faction ammo gives better tracking with an insignificant DPS loss.

    At long range the tracking penalty of spike doesnt matter so much, especially in a destroyer with a tracking bonus.

    I use a 6x150 mm rail II fit on occasion, its tough to fit but you can easily get 100 km out of it, the tracking of the 150's isnt a problem, I am a Dictor pilot so have Destroyer 5 :D.

    ya even lowskilled dessie pilots can hit inty's going at least 3-4k ms because of the sick tracking u get in one

    Your setup is very nice, i used same setup with 1 less gun, and 1 Mag field stab; with faction ammo tore a crusader to bits before he could get me to half shields http://collective.griefwatch.net/?p=details&kill=34975, i think i'll adapt your setup for the extra gun; oh and i have 6 x 150mm's on it all T2, may be able to fit a 7th

    I have a similar setup, the only and much better dfference is, I fit 1 x Micro Augmen instead of PDU, replace all 125mm's with 150mm's and use Caldari antimatter rounds. You will tear any inty to shreds in 30 seconds within a radius of 30km-37.5km. Also stock Spikes and you should hit at 108km

    the pdu is for a little more capstable shooting and also the ability to withstand a little neuting better

    I've just entered the setup into EFT and its not possible to fit the ship that way because the lack of PG. With max skills you end up with 84.22/72.19 PG. If you drop all three rigs you still need a +3% PG implant. But if you fit a single hybrid turret rig it won't work. Even with an expensive +5% Squire PG8 implant you need 0.96 more PG. Maybe Apocrypha lowered the PG output of the Cormorant or raised the PG need of some modules.
    If you drop the three rigs your range is reduced from 109+7.5km (Spike) to 95+7.5km (Spike) but now you have enough PG left (if you plug in a squire pg4 implant which should be around 10mio)  to fit these modules.

    All I want to ask is this, it says that if you have more than one (of the same type) of attachment ie rigs that you suffer a penalty, well you have 3 of the same rig, sensor booster and tracking sensor so what are the penalties you are getting?
