shove on a disruptor if you want to use a MwD
Ab if you want to use a scrambler.

single repper is superior for solo PvP compared to a plate when it comes to a retribution.

The retribution's gun range with multi (scorch if needed) allow for MWD/scram. Just need attentive piloting (making sure you oh the scram, come back into range when they get out, ect ect
Also gives the plated version some actual maneuverability. But you need to plug that therm hole somehow

I agree with active tank for solo pvp, especially with a NOS available. Still, if you fly this in lowsec and can dock up and repair every now and then, then there is nothing wrong with the large buffer tank that a retribution can fit. Its a brawler, so MWD and scram seems ok to me.
I like it, but meta 4 that NOS, and a burst+collision > 2x collision rigs.

Alright I dropped the plate for a single rep, and changed the rigs, swapped out the nos for a T2. But I am curious, is there really any benefit for navy multi other then losing DPS? It has same range on EFT but I lose almost 20 DPS without conflag. Also, I could drop the heat sink for a thermic plate, but it kills my DPS to at all skills V, I'm only touching about 187/321 but my thermic 75.5%... Would it be better for the resist or DPS?

A warp scrambler is just plain wasting the range on those lasers.

I like it much better now.
A quick note about flying it though: scorch is the only T2 ammo. Conflag is generally a bad idea, because it kills cap and tracking, and only lasts 1000 shots. Navy Multifrequency lasts 4x as long, does basically the same DPS, and has no tracking penalty.
