Thought I'd have a go at getting some feedback on this.  I could fly it right now, but haven't tried it yet.

Faction battleships are usually pretty expensive, but I saw a Navy Scorp for 266 mil including T1 rigs in contracts the other day so I thought what the hell.

My Torp Raven does very well so this design is largely based on it.  With the torp raven I get a mwd, 92k ehp, 1077 dps, scram and TP.  The Navy Torp-Scorp gets the following:

1077 dps (CN torps + valks)
159k ehp (81.9/72.8/79.6/83)
MWD (915 m/s for 1m47)
Web
Scram
Target Painter

EDIT: Changed Nosferatu for Neutralizer.  Added rage torps as well as faction torps because you never know when you might meet a ratting carrier :)

Swapped Nos for a Neut.  No longer cap stable even without the mwd running, but if the target is still alive by the time your cap runs dry...  well lets just say you're doing it wrong.

Rage torps - I always have them handy, but only use them against shield buffed battleships or capital ships.  Faction torps give better real DPS (as opposed to on paper DPS) against all smaller targets.

quite correct. and don't forget large armor hulls like the hype or the abaddon which take full rage dmg with but a single tp.

Good resists and EHP but severe range issues without Raven's torp speed bonus. Can't blame for the price / quality ratio though .)

With a Claymore in fleet you can overheat to 1600m/s in one of these, thats how I fly mine, Vulture and Claymore boosting.

I actually use Cruise Missiles on mine, yes the DPS is lower on paper but with a lower signature radius and the fact you dont need to MWD to keep in range its pretty good.

Still, for a Torp fit its fine, you don't really need a cap booster on these unless you are getting neuted.

1 other thing you can do if fit a Nano instead of the 3rd BCU, If you do have a Claymore in the fleet the speed boost is excellent.

    Good either way +1

This is how I fit mine btw.

As I never take it out without boosts here are the stats with Claymore / Vulture...

My fit is more for tank than DPS, its designed more for fleet / gang use.

673 DPS (Not a lot I know but range isnt an issue and you can pop Falcon's at range, or shoot Huginn's or Lach's that are tackling you).
    1279 m/s - 1847 m/s Overheated (1933 m/s with Zor's Hyperlink)

I was looking at something like this a couple of months ago. But, I dropped the LSE for a second TP and went Thermal Hardener > Invuln, you have nearly 20k buffer, and with vulture/tengu links, plenty of EHP and all resists over 80

That fit totals around 1bil, which is very cheap considering how far it could go. IMO if you fit cheaply, your fitting worse than the next competitor, and that means he wins.
