Your 2 battle ships you have posted are not what i would use for Incursions at all. Wait until you can get T2 Guns for the Battle ships and just better skills in general. There are many ships that will be better off for Incursions that are not as skill intensive.

Sansha Frigates do get close to you in those fights, the reason why they dont stay there is because Vindi with Blasters, Nightmare with Pulse and Mach with AC's. all those Battleships still need a lot of tracking mods.

Yes those help a lot, this ship with some moderate changes would work for a Assault Incursion site but a general rule for me is that unless the fit is exceptional T3, T2 BC, BC and Faction Battleships ships are what I would pick from for Vanguard sites.

Yeah... most Battleships worth fitting are around 100mil, just get a good T1 BC going and you might do eve better then what a low skill fitted Battleship will give you and you will drop 30-40mil at most.

hahaha man you really don't know what your talking about. I flew a Drake in Incursions for months before I got into my Tengu and it worked great and if you want to see the fit I have it here on Battleclinic. Harbs are good and Canes if fitted right are more then up to fighting VG Incursions

Assaults are a different matter entirely! I find VG sites are better for ISK and way more time efficient and a LOT easier to start off doing Incursions in.

Firstly You need to calm down boy. You post a fit on BC its going to get flame regardless of how you fit it.

Secondly. You really should have T2 guns for incursions. for the same SP it takes to get into the BS and Large guns You can fit up a T1 BC to do sites and still put down dps. They might not have quite as much EHP but they make up for it by being such a smaller target.

This fit Needs more versatility. you got so much stacking loss in tracking your better off to get a web or maybe even a painter at this point.

I have been in and heard of a 7 man Drake fleet with 1 Dual Web Loki and 2 Basi that was doing VG sites in about 8 minutes... Thats not shabby at all and most of the reason people hate Drakes is because no one knows how to fit them right. They have been given a bad name because of how many new players fly them and because of bad fittings, they are quite a good ship to learn incursions in and my not be the best but they work when fitted/used well.

EDIT// In the fleet I was in there was 8 Drakes, Huginn and 2 Basi, we did a OTA in about 8 minutes.

I'd swap out the tier 1 guns with tier 2 if possible, ill have to do some tinkering over in EFT.

I assume the T1 guns are there because of skills obviously.  The fit isn't too bad, I might want 2 webs and 1 TC if a lot of NCOs will be run.  Otherwise it's fine for a Vanguard Rokh.
