150mm to easier drag aggro and do some dmg at range. the small neutron blasters to handle small ships comming close (like frigs in missions while my drons rip cruisers ect apart) eventually drones. also coz i dont like empty slots.

Destroyer140 is working their way up. Destroyer140 is working their way up. Destroyer140 is working their way up.

Hint: You can drag aggro even with a blaster since it doesn't matter if you hit your target or not, if you shoot on them (even from 80KM with a blaster) they get aggroed

JunT might just get shoved out an airlock if they keep it up.

i have to -1.  Dual tank, no speed mod, small armor rep w/ 1600m plate, two gun types....
spend some time checking out other pve vexors.

i fitted a "dual" tank coz its a DRONEBOAT! i dont NEED anything but my drones. two types of guns to shoot on diffrent enemies (and i cant fit more 150mm due to PG). what do i need a speed mod for? anything i cant tank, i allready naturally drive faster then (pve). plz try to look at the fit, try it in EFT and read what it says before doing -1's.

EDIT: ok, u said no speed mods, and 2 tanks w/1600mm armor.
plz tell me why i need the speed mod, and why i shouldnt fit dual tank as i have when the caps stable?

Read the comment above about aggro, you might be better off with either all blasters or all rails to maximize damage at your chosen range. I would go with blasters, but it is a mater of preference. Don't mix shield and armor tank, use one and make it as effective as possible. Vexor is usually armor tanked (more low slots), so fit cap rechargers in med slots to make it as cap stable as possible. Consider adding an AB. Drop the plate, those are mostly for PvP and they make your ass look fat. Since you are new, I would go with damage control, since it will give you both resistances on your armor and a few extra seconds to run if you screw up and end up in hull. Try to swap energized membranes for active hardeners for better resistance. And of course upgrade to medium repper.

U will get used to "constructive" feedback here there are a lot of peeps that are willing to help and a lot that are really dicks, the fit however is bad,it doesn't matter if u have 1 mil sp, just focus on what u can use and make better use of it.

First of all use a prop mod, aka afterburner a fast moving target is harder to kill than a slow/stationary,
then u can use a couple of cap rechargers to help with ur cap, use a medium armor rep and use the rest of the slots to boost ur tank, plater are good for pvp mostly but they can be good on some specialized pve setups, in ur case try to avoid them, use 2 mission specific hardenersif u are doing missions or a couple of eanms if u have mixed damage profiles and a damage control. Use railguns they are better for missions cause they have more range and range is ur friend in pve.

The reason to never dual tank is because tanks trample on each other. In your case, your passive shield tank is taking slots away from cap rechargers that armor tank needs. Basically, at the moment you have a shitty passive shield tank with no shield relays and no armor tank, since small repper will not be able to keep up with damage dealt in anything bigger than L1.

You need prop to do get around mission space faster (ever had to go 80km to the next pocket gate?) and dictate the range (to use your blasters).

also, the OP is either a troll or has done NO research at all into proper vexor fits or really PvE fits, game mechanics, etc. the idea that they just come and post their trash and then get indignant that people aren't constructive is obnaxious. it really comes down to this: the player, if they are sincere, needs lessons in the basics, not critique of their fit on battleclinic. when this person, and people like him (or her), show in their post that they understand the basics and have some grasp of a proper fit, I will give them feedback. until then, any feedback beyond  "this is trash learn to fit ships" isn't going to do much good. YES, someone should teach them the game and NO, the loadout section of battleclinic isn't the place for that. the end.

^^This. You asked for feedback and you got it, don't complain just because it's not the feedback you wanted to hear. It's not a personal attack. This fit is no good, plain and simple, and we know this because we have the experience to tell us so. You obviously do not, based on this fitting; this is not a negative, we were all new to the game once just as you are now. Take the advice that has been offered. Do with it what you will, follow it or don't. It's your game, the rest of us honestly couldn't care less how you play. But you asked for feedback, and people gave it honestly and correctly. Learn from it.

This is how you should fit it, downgrade to T1/meta items if you can't fit the T2 version http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/44004-Misson-Vexor.html

dont dual tank, get ab on there, direct hp buffer mods are usless for pve, fix high slots to either a) add to dps or B) add pull agro and salvage.

oh and btw hornets and acolytes are garbage, even against npc types that they are "suppose" to be good against. just use glents drones except for vespa, ill let you look into that on your own.

I changed my - to a +.  This fit will be a perfectly good mission boat for you.  The second cap recharger might be excessive.  You could possibly even put a web on if you plan on using your blaster often but that's a personal preference.

how often/much will i really use my armor repp?

OK, now this is starting to look like a proper mission fit. According to EFT, this fit has 61 dps of tank against serpentis (at all V) which is a bit low. I will suggest again that you upgrade to medium armor repairer and pulse it as needed. At the very least you will get bigger blob of armor rep when you do pulse. Now to your question. Unless you never go into the armor (that is your shield tanks all the damage) you will need to use your repper at least a few times. And chances are, that at the start of the mission, when all the enemies are alive and kicking, you will run it continuously. The idea is to either be cap stable (difficult with a cruiser) or to kill things fast enough so that incoming dps is zero or at least greatly reduced by the time you run out of cap. Second approach is more effective, since you do not have to bother about cap stability when fitting and therefore can fit better dps, the first approach is safer, since you do not need to worry about running out of cap before the enemy dps is sufficiently low.

    Few more things:
    • Loading iron ammo into blasters doesn't really make sense. With the shitty range blasters have the range difference between iron and AM will be negligible, but the damage difference will be great. By the way, can you upgrade to ion or neutron blasters?
    • While it might seem like a good idea to use mission specific drones, it really is not that important. The reason being that besides dealing different damage types, drones have different damage modifier and Gallente drones have biggest damage mod of all. So just pack a flight of hobgoblins and hammerheads and some spares and go kill things.
    • Since you are going with blasters instead of rails, you might want to consider fitting MWD instead of AB to quickly get in blaster range
    • All in all, I will change my vite to +1

normally I would give a fit like this no + or -, but because you made such a drastic turnaround in fit quality I will give it a +

consider ion or neutron blasters if you can fit em

until you have null, only ever use antimatter for blasters

if you have the skills you should look into a tractor beam instead of the drone link

also you can use a medslot for something useful for clearing missions like a tracking comp or a web or something

always willing to listen, if ppl explain why it sucks ;)
the blasters are rigged as those are the only ones that fit within my PG limits atm (needed a named blaster for it). best railguns i can slam on it are dual 150mm, witch could be usefull, i admit. if i change to 150mm railguns and change the AB for a third cap recharger, im stable at 39% cap with everything running. ill drop the other drones and just fill up on hammers/hob's.

Edit: update changed. needed named railguns due to cpu.

No need for the 3rd recharger really, are you no longer able to fit an AB? Try to get one on there if you can, but really, for level 2's, this is fine.

After burner ads considerable tank to this also dont be afraid to trade the DCU for a mag stab or Cap power relay.

my vexor had at least one auxillary nano on it. you could consider two.

in most of my lvl 2 - 3s my armor repper was pulsed not perma run.

I would suggest that you put AB back on. Looks like you are cap stable with either guns shooting or repper running and that should be good enough. If you need to repair more damage, just stop shooting and let the drones do the work and if you are not running the repper you can start the guns for additional dps.

not stable with guns off and repper on with a AB mounted im afraid :\ i do tend to switch out for when i need distance (cant tank em). use the AB to keep em at 50/52km range and let my drones take em out. at that range my shield recharges faster then their dps is xD
