Keep in mind that this fitting is a fleet or gang fitting where you have rr. I hope we both agree that remote rep is more effective with high resists.
If i replace the eanm with a second plate i would get 117k ehp and 8k Armor, but i would lose about 10% on all resists which is not worth it.

For just about the same stats you can use my fit you only lose 50 DPS and 4K EHP and the painter or web but you get 2 large neuts and a med neut.

You haven't flown a t2 torpedo ship with Rage or?
A tp helps alot with the real damage. You won't hit a bs with rage ammunition full even with one tp, but one already helps a lot.

I have seen this fitting. It has 40 more damage and about the same tank, but the resistances are awful. You have 3 plates which get you about 30k armor but no resistances. Except the explosion  resistances the resistances are 20% worse.
it's a good fitting if you don't have a guardian squad or something like that.

Your fitting isn't bad but it only has a web or a painter and this means you have to get more support to hold and paint the enemy ship.
Additionally the fitting has 10% worse resistances. It's still a good fitting but with rr mine is still better

Faction torps aren't bad but if you're in a fleet with enough target painters i dont see the point of them.

I would rather see the three neuts as well, 50 dps hardly contends with the enemy not being able to rep or fire.

it's the best dps you can sqeeze out of the typhoon with resis higher than 70%

Its a matter of dps on paper vs actual damage,for example if an enemy can only get 2 cycles out of a large rep because you have neuted his cap out then you have done a great bit more damage to them than these guns are ever going to hope to do.

I know the utility of neuts i fly myself typhoons with neuts,but i want try something different.
Again: this is a fitting with max resistance while doing good dps. It's a fitting where you have to get rr.
The higher the resis the less damage you gain and so the rr rep more damage. The fitting from shadowace has a good tank if you won't get remote rep but the resitances are still 10% lower than mine.
And if you don't live the additional damage and/or neut wouldn't be really helping or?

that's true but 10% really is not that big of a deal inless your talking active tanking. Example you have a rep on your ship (large T2) mine is calming to rep 4 more DPS then yours. Granted that's alittle off. 10% in repping is not much. granted 10% from 50 to 60 is alot bigger. but 60 to 70 really wont drop that much damage off.
