You should keep the TE but replace the gyro with a BCS.  Your missiles will do more for you than your guns.  I like the concept, though:)

This. I'd use heavy missiles too since the range is a lot more versatile.

Stick with HAMs.  Otherwise its just boring cookie cutter fit.  With the BCS, you get a bit more EFT dps and a lot more dps in actual practice.  Your gun dps is hurt quite a bit fighting in deep falloff, but the range does nothing to your missile damage.  You want to augment the weapons that are hitting your target the hardest.

You will get more effectiveness out of 3 hammerheads and 2 hobgoblins though.

If you are pvp'ing with this in high sec for some reason you may also consider an afterburner, would create a pretty lethal combo if you find yourself against multiple targets, the ability to maintain decent speed.

An AB is a pretty bad idea. You would have to dual web a single mwding target to be able to overtake it and that leaves you open to any other ship that fits an mwd.

I use mine with Heavies and duel lse. This ship is quite underrated and IMO is just as good if not better than a vaga.

I would consider ECM drones instead of Hammers. It gives you only 21% chance, but still it is pretty annoying when you can't lock anything

I realized that I'll be able to use the significantly cheaper huginn along with a rapier in a month, so I went along the same vein.

Module choices:
TE - BCS uses more CPU and adds limited additionalDPS, and the added falloff is much more useful

ACs - B/c 650s have no chance at fitting

Dual web - "no, stay the fuck over there"

HAMs - hit out to similar range as the ACs with faction ammo.
