    Since the missiles will take longer to reach the target, why not use explosive missiles? Then, the guns will be optimized against the shields and the missiles against the armor.

    kinda similar but the above is for completely different usage. This is a sacrificial one shot gank/cheep ship, that's why there is no defense on it

    A alpha strike,high sec, sacrificial ship with a scram... um.. Gate guns or station in high sec will kill this ship after it fires there is no point in having a scram.  blasters.. also defeat the point :)

    It keeps them from warping away though, in the case that your volley doesn't 1 hit.

    I'd pop in an ACR rig, which is cheap, and then swap the RCU for a DCU I for a little more tank. If there's ANY chance to survive the volley from gate guns and get a second shot, it'll be worth it.
