Ok fellas. This is to all the amarr haters out there. This ship, imo, is the most overpowered bs in the game, save for some faction ships. You NEED WU AND AWU 5 to fit this. Now, notice the dual repper setup. if you disable the turrets and run dual reps WITHOUT BOOSTING , the cap will last you 4.5 mins or so. with booster, is perma run. Running all 8 MP's with a dc and no booster lasts you 11 mins, plenty of time to take down targets. the Nano pump rig lets you tank about 500dps worth of damage with both reppers running. this ship also gets over 580 dps with a 2.5k ALPHA strike ( and i think this number is undervalued, eft never shows me the right dps for some reason). optimal of 15k , falloff of 10. And I only have 2mil into gunnery how sick is this? right.
Resists are: 74em/78therm/74kin/72 exp. basically, t2 resists on a t1 bs. it has 10k armor, 10k structure(which gets 50% resists due to the Damage control). Effective hp shows up as 74k in eve too. seventy-four-thousand effective hp. WITH DUAL REPPERS.

Enjoy fellas, for i am sure this monster is going to be nerfed soon.

***NOTE THESE DPS NUMBERS ARE t2 GUNS FITTED IN EFT WITHOUT t2 SKILLS, YOUR ACTUAL DPS WILL BE HIGHER IF YOU HAVE TRAINED THE PROPER GUNNERY SKILLS, AS I ONLY HAVE 2.5MIL AT THIS TIME IN GUNNERY***

i don't think it is that overpowered.  you can get a similar setup on a hyperion or a megathron for that matter with similair stats using a blaster platform.   wouldn't 3 eanms give you better stats then 3 pasive specific hardeners?

    Sarcasm will get you nowhere.

I call BS on this. If you have 2 mil in gunnery you couldn't use T2 large guns.

good fit but it's better to have 3 EAMNs then 3 specific hardeners. X3 eamns will get you 86/73/75/78

Now if you "actually" had the skills to fly this you would have 660 DPS with a 3352 Alpha.

I'll give you a thumbs up because it is a good fit.

If amarr get nerfed again I will quit eve, oh wait! I already did. doh!

Yeah...I don't think you can have WU and AWU to 5 and have 2mil sp in gunnery. I have 3 mil in gunnery and don't have those to 5 yet.

That said, i still give this loadout a  It does what Amar does best.

2 mil in gunnery and and have WU 5 & AWU 5 & T2 Large Pulses?  hehe.

That is at least 5.880 mil for that alone.

did he maybe get confused with the t1 variety?
  • December 12, 2007, 06:54:24 am

I admit, it's a pretty good fit. I threw on three Ogre II's, some conflag lenses and EFT is showing me 881 DPS with an Alpha of 3507.

The rest of the numbers seem to match up nicely. Less than 100 left over PG, so yeah, WU5 looks mandatory. 48 leftover CPU doesn't leave much to play with. So yeah, pretty tight fit. I don't see any warp disruptors, which (as I understand it) is basically mandatory on most ships in pvp gangs, but other that, I don't see anything obviously wrong.

Yeah, you'd need some tacklers with this setup to really work in pvp. Smaller ships usually work better for tackling anyway.

I wouldn't consider it the best. People just don't realize that the abaddon is not suppose to maintain as a pwn mobile for eternity.

You setup might have the cap to last a while, but when under fire, ur passive hardeners will not suffice. Triple active hardeners + ENAM + 2x auxillary nano pump rigs if u want to tank or go for a plate setup with trimark rigs.

To those who complain about cap problems, ur worst enemy flies the Megathron and that thing poops out within 3 minutes with an inferior tank if at all.

correct to those saying i dont have the skills.
But if you did have the skills, youd be getting more than the dps that i stated, as my current skills with t2 guns in eft only give in the 500 range, you can easily go higher with the right skills.
please rep if you truly like the setup for what it is though and not based on my mistake with the skills =]

So, this is a ship that drops on the head of someone, who's being tackled, from out of nowhere, right? Either way, no mwd makes me sad... Blaster ships with mwd+web+nos will kick this Aba's ass i suppose.

Anyway, it is very good setup for a gang if you enter fight when 1st wave is at the enemy already.

I built a similar setup but replaced the booster with a recharger and one of the EANM and the heat sync with relays. I get a very cap stable setup with all modules running, and still have cap to spare. 482 dps and 2732 alpha strike damage with Multi's.

With all mods running it sucks down 113.5 cap but generates 140.4, so you've got a little breathing room in case of nos or something.

I don't have a lot of BS pvp experiance, but I guess the lack of booster might make it more of a fleet / PvE ship.

    EDIT:

as a side bonus, you only need advanced weapon upgrades to 1 for it to fit, so a little less time consuming.

yeah this isnt a solo ship. amarr arent meant for solo really, save for the sacri and curse, which are nano ships anyway
