btw, the limited exposure thing is wrong.  Most gankers wait at stations where this thing will be toast just like any indy.  Further, even if they're waiting at a gate, as soon as they see an occator cloak you're primary.  Expect to be followed and ganked.

Regarding stations:

Any hauler worth his/her salt has a bookmark for instant warp away from the major trade hubs. Set up a bookmark 500-1000 km away, aligned with the undock point, and there's no time between "you cannot lock this target" and "warping."

Regarding being followed:

I suppose that's a possibility, but it's a bit like attacking someone carrying a shrink-wrapped cargo container. They won't be able to scan you and have no idea what you're going to drop. Nevermind that it's difficult to get a lock on a cloaked hauler in the first place.

This is a pretty simple fit, designed to maximize cargohold while minimizing exposure. Because of the alignment time, it's obviously not suited for lowsec expeditions, but the cloak and MWD combo allow you to maximize your cargohold while minimizing risk of suicide ganks.

As fitted, the ship gets 35,508.8 m^3 of cargo, which is competitive with even a cargohold-optimized iteron V. More importantly, this ship has 2-3 times the effective hit points, and its resists are optimized to resist kinetic and thermal damage most frequently seen in blaster-heavy gank ships.

The ship also boasts a native +2 warp scramble resistance, which poses a considerable deterrent to those without sufficient tackling support.

Most importantly, this ship limits exposure time. In hisec, suicide gankers need a chance to scan cargo to determine whether you're worth attacking. The total exposure time for getting locked is extremely short, and certainly insufficient to determine whether the ship is worth killing.

The only real disadvantage seems to be the price and relatively high degree of attention that needs to be paid when traveling about. Seems a reasonable sacrifice to me!
