Open fitting in EVEHQ
You may have come across the option in various BattleClinic loadouts to "Open fitting in EveHQ" and wandered what it does and how to set it up, so I'll briefly explain.

The option in BattleClinic for opening the fitting is really just a special link which contains data about the fitting. If configured correctly, web browsers can be instructed how to respond to clicking those links such as opening a new page or starting a download. In this case, the link will ultimately show the fitting in HQF - the EveHQ Fitting plug-in.

First, we need to configure Windows to recognise the protocol (that's the part of the link that read "fitting://"). With HQF already open, go into the HQF options and select the General Options. In there, you will see a Fitting Protocol section which shows the current status of the protocol (enabled or disabled) and appropriate buttons to toggle this state. Simply click the Enable button and this should allow the fitting:// protocol to be recognised by web browsers with the status updated accordingly.

Please note that the step above writes a value into the registry and therefore you will need to have administrator rights to do this. In Vista or Windows 7, you will need to run EveHQ as Administrator for this part only.

And that's really all that's required. With the protocol status active, clicking on the links in the BattleClinic loadouts will show the fitting in a special browser window in HQF (so you can see DPS, tank etc). If EveHQ or HQF is not loaded, then these will be loaded as appropriate so the fitting can be displayed.

The fitting:// protocol has been tested and working in IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome but any issues, please let me know.

i don"t have machariel yet but i will get it in few days ....so i realy wana know is this fit ok ?

i did use it"s bonuses and pushed it to my maximum fitting XP.....i don"t know how to make it get better ....
i can make it this way or use 1400mm guns (6) and make it slow with hig voley damage...and i don"t like it then....so if somebody got one great mach fit plzz post me in COMENT"S.....

    Note:
    - You can't use mwd in missions (I thought that's what this fit is about?)
    - Dual booster? Either another invul or boost amp would be better.
    - Auto Targeting System? Imho those are the most useless mods in eve, but if someone knows the exact purpose of it feel free to educate me.

    Amazingly you do understand that pure gank works just fine for missions, you hardly have to tank something that dies faster then your booster can cycle ^.^

    +1 for me, work on the med slots and the free high slot!

    I suggest you browse the existing Machariel loadouts before posting your own. There might well be something you can use.

    Go have a look, use the 'search' box and type in 'Machariel'. Make sure there's nothing highlighted and then hit enter and have a look at what you get. It's really rather simple :P

    ya ya thx for +1 ...and yes thx for rememering me...i did put wrong bit in medium slot....that shud be AB...and no MWD..sry my mistake and yes dual reps...i can tank 3-4 BS with them :=) heeh ...yes it is truth..it is not cap stabale with 2boost"s runing but it is 4 min with both and that is enought to kill evything....what about auto targeting sistem...:) yeah it helps very much in missions with angels or septriss...becase they make your targeting sistem sucks....and you can"t target them ..so i suggest a ATS so ya don"t have probs with targeting them in range of 50 km... CHEERS :=))

    ATS makes me sad on the inside parts...

    As for the fit, you should try a pithum c-tyte medium shield booster and a boost amp. I believe it will provide similar tank for similar cost, but less cap issues. If you have a lot of isk, then consider the a-type and use 2 invuls.

    And quite honestly, I'm not sure if you really need the tracking computer. 3 tracking enhancers are doing the job quite well, and fitting more resists will help your tank.

    2x faction med. sb will not work very well.  you spent 1b for the hull.  you simply can't get off cheap on the mods for ganking it out properly.
    what exactly is it for w/mwd fit?

    this is the only way I would try fitting a Mach for lvl 4 ganking

    Deadspace booster and a boost amp. And afterburner. Otherwise it looks fine to me. Also might aswell get faction damage mods.

    not that it's needed.  but, you can use mwd on mish such as ae and many others.  thought op had certain one in mind.  missed the part that it was a mistake.

    Med slots are fail. You can either go with Pithum a-type medium booster with hardeners + 100Mn AB, or use a x-large shield booster + hardener + cap booster + 100mn AB.

    NKRZERo .... you meaby don"t know but you are total imbecil....this mach don"t need to tank with x-large booster stupido....it already got big and enought tank to tank what left after it comes in mission pocket.....and yes before you make stupid coment like this try to learn how gank fit works....and yes it is my mistake with those shield boosters and i will fix it but as farr as i belive this is one very good mach fit ..it just need litle better boosters and it will be very good.....

    and yes.....why for the jesus woud i fit faction damage mods ? it just take me much more money and gives me meaby 0.2 - 0.3 more damage on that......and if i calulate that woud be around 150-200 damage more but it does not help very much... so you fools ...first get me 3 bils so i can fit me faction damage mods and then coment about them !

    Sell 1 of you're pith A-type med shield boosters for 1.3 billion isk and make this:

    Machariel: Expensive Permarun L4 Mach


    You'll probably want low grade crystal implants, but you could get them instead of the faction damage mods.

    Faction damage mods are always worth the investment on PvE ships. Added dps means less time which means better efficiency which means more isk/hour. It's shouldn't be hard to comprehend.

    And the tank looks terrible now. You shouldn't need dual-medium shield boosters, let alone pithum a-types. Swap one for a shield boost amp and the tracking computer for another invul (can be t2 if you want to save some isk). But running 2 medium shield boosters will get you into cap issues (can't rely on a nos in PvE, no matter what EFT says), so it'd be best to increase your tank in a different way. The fit Mike linked will do best.

    ok mike....if you say it i will do it but i just wana know is is making any difrence in tank with -1 boost + 1 boost amplifer ?? or shoud i have nore tank with 2 shield boosts and yes i am not reay super rich so i don"t need or have money to buy me faction damage mods....i have only 4 bils so far and won"t spend all on dam mach ....it is goot as it is and can run lvl 4 very good with it"s current dps/voley / speed and other... if you have money to send me in game i woud apcept it :) lol so i can buy me damage mods...

    Those things cost 1.1b last I checked.  No.  Just no.
