Open fitting in EVEHQ
You may have come across the option in various BattleClinic loadouts to "Open fitting in EveHQ" and wandered what it does and how to set it up, so I'll briefly explain.

The option in BattleClinic for opening the fitting is really just a special link which contains data about the fitting. If configured correctly, web browsers can be instructed how to respond to clicking those links such as opening a new page or starting a download. In this case, the link will ultimately show the fitting in HQF - the EveHQ Fitting plug-in.

First, we need to configure Windows to recognise the protocol (that's the part of the link that read "fitting://"). With HQF already open, go into the HQF options and select the General Options. In there, you will see a Fitting Protocol section which shows the current status of the protocol (enabled or disabled) and appropriate buttons to toggle this state. Simply click the Enable button and this should allow the fitting:// protocol to be recognised by web browsers with the status updated accordingly.

Please note that the step above writes a value into the registry and therefore you will need to have administrator rights to do this. In Vista or Windows 7, you will need to run EveHQ as Administrator for this part only.

And that's really all that's required. With the protocol status active, clicking on the links in the BattleClinic loadouts will show the fitting in a special browser window in HQF (so you can see DPS, tank etc). If EveHQ or HQF is not loaded, then these will be loaded as appropriate so the fitting can be displayed.

The fitting:// protocol has been tested and working in IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome but any issues, please let me know.

How to fund this loadout with PLEX:

Current estimated total value, ISK: 152,675,465
Sell this many PLEX* to fund: 1
Convert this many ETC to PLEX: 1 Purchase ETC here

*You may only sell PLEX for ISK via the CCP Secure Transfer Method
You need to upgrade your Flash Player
All 5:
Dps:942
volley:4356
Speed:974m/s
Cap:1m44s all,stable without mwd
ehp:127k(35k+ armor) resistance:79/65/60/52

why neuts? guns give you dissapointing 160dps+ and most important draining any smaller than bc in matter of sec, serious threat to laser/hybrid bs's without cap booster, pain in the ass to any subcap active tank ship..priceless!!!
now battleclinic is all about all 5 wich is imo wrong,to this setup its normal about 850dps and little less ehp, just for notification..

PLEASE rate this setup and don't be afraid to write your opinion:)
tnx
note:cap booster is for situations when active tanker is boosting his capasitor and you need to keep up with him..

this fit is full of win. i would use a damage mod over the ANP II if the pilot has slaves. oh yeah, and use gallente drones, they do lots more damage.
  • December 11, 2009, 12:16:23 pm

    drop plate for another BCU
  • December 11, 2009, 12:43:18 pm

    :D
  • December 11, 2009, 12:43:39 pm

I spend almost 30min thinking how to fit 1 more bcu cause then dps jumps to 1070 wich is lot better but this fit have 750/750 cpu so modifying it is not so good idea imo, taking plate down brings ehp from 127k to 105k and you're still short on cpu tho you can unfit eanm and fit bcu so you have 106k ehp and 1070dps but still needs 3% cpu implant but resistance is 72/55/48/38 but generaly yea,you can do it your way..eve can be bitch sometimes:D
and drones,i was thinking berserkers first:) majority use ogres but they have worse tracking than wasp and wasp hits armor better so wasp or berserkers are:)
  • December 11, 2009, 12:50:21 pm

If cpu is that big of an issue keep it the way you have it. Use Ogre II's.
  • December 11, 2009, 12:55:05 pm

    This loadout has been updated
  • December 11, 2009, 12:56:13 pm

    ogres are,dps changed to 971!
  • December 11, 2009, 01:08:10 pm

    +1
  • December 11, 2009, 01:25:39 pm

I like this, but your speed can't possibly be right.  I'd add another BCU too, but thats me.
  • December 11, 2009, 01:28:36 pm

    nice fit, +1
  • December 11, 2009, 01:30:35 pm

drop plate for another bcu :P
  • December 11, 2009, 01:32:44 pm

drop plate for another bcu :P
read former posts, that was already suggested and shot down, as it wont work without a cpu implant.
  • December 11, 2009, 01:39:15 pm

Ohh, my bad...  I still say the ship's speed isn't right, but I still like the fit.
  • December 11, 2009, 02:04:42 pm

    Nice fit, +1.

drop plate for another bcu :P

    Do you not read?
  • December 11, 2009, 02:07:45 pm

  • December 11, 2009, 02:10:23 pm

Trade one neut for a smarty maybe?
  • December 11, 2009, 02:12:21 pm

one would assume it's high-sec so a smarty may be a very bad idea...
  • December 11, 2009, 02:42:15 pm

why would this be high sec? Perfectly viable for low sec and 0.0
  • December 11, 2009, 04:43:34 pm

Nah a smarties a good idea I reckon, this ship is so win it would solo any corcordokken that spawn ;)
    +1
  • December 11, 2009, 05:10:40 pm

This + TP support ship = EPIC WIN
  • December 12, 2009, 06:24:56 pm

Typhoon is now officially the better raven.
  • December 13, 2009, 05:44:05 am

Lovely 5 launcher slots after Domnion! Nice ship for FW or small losec gangs. +1
  • December 14, 2009, 10:25:58 am

Where is target painter ? I think you should add Berserker TP-900. Does it really need?
  • December 15, 2009, 12:17:13 pm

Perfect. This is how the Phoon should be.

I've tooled around in a setup similar to this, but I used a PWNAGE instead of the web (better application of damage). +1, either way.

For cost reasons, I'm also pretty sure a Medium Neut II fits in place of the unstable one. EDIT: Nevermind, only fits if you use a PWNAGE instead of a web.
  • December 15, 2009, 03:36:42 pm

tnx for the positive ratings people :) i was doing little more research on this setup finding it perfect against amarr, they should have serious problems after 2min of combat with their cap..if they have all5 :)even abadons aren't safe..muhahahaha :D no doubt, one of best bs's currently
  • December 15, 2009, 03:44:06 pm

    Nice! +1
  • December 15, 2009, 03:51:40 pm

This is really well done. +1
  • December 18, 2009, 04:07:47 am

Excellent phoon! I would drop a plate for another BCU as well but this fit is excellent as a template!
  • December 18, 2009, 05:08:34 am

As stated several times, not enough CPU. :P

I have to say, I cannot wait to fly this ship. I'd give you +5 if I could just for showing that Minmatar battleships don't suck.
  • December 20, 2009, 08:58:49 pm

    +1 Ima like
  • December 21, 2009, 11:50:46 pm

Awsome fit i have tryed this on my phoon and it works great +1
  • December 22, 2009, 11:17:43 pm

Very good fit.  The range question always bothers me though javelins and drones help with that somewhat.  Sure to run into problems at range vs hacs and recons.  Still, very good. +1
  • December 29, 2009, 09:23:26 am

I like this setup. You get a +1 in my book.
check out my typhoon build and let me know what ya think! :)

Swapping the web for a Target painter is highly recommended by me, unless you can fully rely on other ships to do the target painting for you.

If you do attempt to use this as a solo ship without any target painters, your dps will be nerfed so much that against any other competent battleships, you'll die.

Against anything smaller than a BS and the dps is almost negligible.
  • January 02, 2010, 04:09:52 pm

I totaly agree Jonny, tho i have xp killing drakes(maby fail fit but anyway) with losing only 20%armor so torps can hit bc's,after i neut and web them and they have no cap for mwd, they usually give up but anyway i agree,TP is an option but i'm not gonna update fit cause anyone having little knowlege about torps could know that if he needs TP he can simply swamp it for Web..can't satisfy everyone.
I hope you know what i mean :)
  • January 05, 2010, 11:33:23 am

Now all we need is a big 3200mm plate LOL
  • January 05, 2010, 03:09:57 pm

    hell yea :D

nice fit +1 - all I can think of is exchange the med neut for a med nos so you can drop the cap booster for a target painter... Like this...

iirc nos works off % base, if they have lower % of capacitor left than you you don't gain any energy, they don't lose any energy (to the nos) so with the heavy neuts the medium nos probably wouldn't be doing much after a cycle or two of the heavy neuts.
  • January 17, 2010, 10:09:27 am

Ah here we go,-1. was expecting that :D
Have to say, hope nobody takes it personal,i'm not here to have best rated fit or such cause there is no medal or isk price lol :D but to help someone who finds my fit suitable for his situation but still ninja - rating is really bad habit,i respect it but next time at least write why,i wanna know :)

upper comments: nos is bad idea,Sevacant told us why.
Was thinking about smarties too, they're good in null for clearing drones and incoming missles(note that yours will be destroyed too) but imo if you wanna use smarties use them more than just 1..

They did it because you destroyed their argument that all Minmatar battleships suck. Probably some Amarr fanboy. :P
  • January 18, 2010, 03:30:34 pm

Its a very nice looking fit.

I have one problem with it tho: my evefit tells me that even with all lvl V skills, cpu will be 790/750 and pg will be 17192/15625.

    Can anyone tell me why?

I foud out why my evefit thought it was impossible: i had 3 Heavy neut in.
  • January 28, 2010, 06:36:21 am

best fit ive seen m8, i was gonna try and mod this fit to go round my skillz but i dont have to its perfect. a+++++++1 and 2thumbs up
  • January 29, 2010, 05:32:28 am

    excellent fit :D

my suggestion would be to drop the web for a pwnage module, which allows you to then drop a plate for a second dmg mod if you use a +1% cpu implant (only 3 mil).
  • February 08, 2010, 04:33:57 pm

    im a noob...whats a pwnage module
  • February 08, 2010, 05:12:05 pm

    im a noob...whats a pwnage module

A named target painter, first letter in each part of the name spells out P.W.N.A.G.E
  • February 08, 2010, 08:26:15 pm

sweet set up, to the point and nothing you dont need. from my exp, a Web is more important then a TP, dont get me wrong, a Tp is nice, but webing a target when your dumb and slow is too nice. slower they go, better your slow and even dumber torps will get to your target.(i'll get heat for that comment, but dont care, i know what i mean, and yes i know higher sig = higher damage, not the point)
    go go 100+s
  • February 10, 2010, 02:11:49 pm

    im a noob...whats a pwnage module

Meta 1, PWN, Partial Weapon Navigation
Meta 2, PWND, Peripheral Weapon Navigation Diameter
Meta 3, PWNT, Parallel Weapon Navigation Transmitter
Meta 4, PWNAGE, Phased Weapon Navigation Array Generation Extron

    Dev humor.
    T'is funny!
    No?
