Part 3 of my "ultimate pvp destroyer" series, the thrasher is the fastest of the destroyers i've built so far.

Totally cap stable with everything, that means MWD too.
1.8 km/s
140 dps with 882 damage volley with republic emp
9.1km optimum with 11km falloff with tracking computer/ tracking speed scripts/ republic emp
.2 rad/sec tracking speed without computer on.
5k ehp

Designed to keep itself out of scrambler range and shoot at enemies from a fast orbit in its own falloff territory. Not fantastically accurate, but devastating in damage potential and super difficult to catch if flown correctly. Main threats are drone boats and inties, but it's got a good align time and it's not lacking in speed either. needs a tackler to hold the enemy down, or can act as a drone/tackler popper for fleet support. You can fit a rocket launcher in the last hi slot with a 3% implant and all level 5 skills if you really want to go all out.

Oh, and obviously, if you aren't an all level 5 skillboat, swap stuff out for more fit/isk friendly items, but at 20mil per boat, this isn't too hard on the wallet if you just want to have some fun.

For a start, drop the BCS! I think that's a mistake though.

With an arty thrasher I usually go for alpha strike and screw the tank. If you're going down the small extender won't save you! I still think if it's a PvP ship it need a disruptor. If you can hold them you can get silly inties in a  few shots.

If you can't fit T2 250mm Arties loaded with Barrage you are doing it wrong. You aren't going to be tackling for yourself, so I don't really see a problem. Should be able to pulse the MWD to lower transerval as needed. All together, not much of a leap forward. A for effort.

T2 guns eat up way too much CPU to be viable because it makes it impossible to fit the damage rigs and gyroII thus ending in less damage overall.
