  Nice fit...only other option I have seen is 3 Core defense purger rigs and 4 Shield power relays...some of our FC's debate the MWD on the Onyx but I see why you chose it.

  Manasimule, t2 ships only have 2 slots for rigs.
  And personally, I wouldn't hve the mwd since you have heavy missiles. Maybe if you were using HAM's, but I'd prefer another shield extender on this fit. Other than that it looks good.

  It could be better I think if instead of heavy missiles you fit heavy assault, and two of power diagnostic switch for two BCS II, it will deplete Ur cap around 20s faster with MWD, but rise Ur fire power twice.
  If Ur fight range is supposed to be around 20km max. (range of disruption field) then what for long range missiles?

  Haha no, you might want to think about what the role of a hictor is. Hint: it's not dps, it has something to do with that thing in the highs that is not a launcher.

  You sir are retarded, Cap stability isnt needed, and how the sh*t can a ship be cap stable with an MWD going? not to mention that the MWD is useless once a HIC bubble is deployed, learn a few things about pvp and ships you bloody perma shield CNR using carebear

  id like to see some more stats on this loadout! lol such as shield recharge rates, resists, dps and such. i try to avoid using EFT to 5 to all skills, since that is usually pretty unrealistic. ty

  We use all level 5s for a fair comparison between ships. If you want to check with your skills just export to EFT and get your skills with your API.

  Ok, a couple of points.
  Cap Stable/not Cap stable - it is not about being cap stable. In a fleet Onyx, you are often warping from gate to gate, bubble up, bubble down, warp again - this does horrible things to your cap, to the point where you either cant get it ( bubble) up or cant warp. Obviously this is a very bad thing.
  The Onyx is better off to be passive imo than active tank - 4 x Shield Extenders in the mids + EM resistance amp2 and a InvII ( yes i know i said passive) and 3 x shield power relays in the lows with a PDU in the last low. My personal choice for rigs are 2 x Core defence field purgers.
  Oh yes, i would often have only 4 bays and two warp field gens, one loaded with script for the single target scram range - tbh in a fleet , your dps is pretty crap next to 20 or 50 assorted BS's , etc.
  
  Now, i have been out of game for a while, but this set-up did me proud and i didnt feel the need to change it.

  umm, think 20km is maxed out actually. Unless you add a script, then its 30km single target
