First, active tanking on a t3 is a really bad idea. One neuting battleship and you're toast.
Second, even with mediocre skills you should be able to fit a full rack of ions.
    Third, needs damage mods.

There is no way in hell I'm just gonna plate my T3 ship, I'm looking for a sturdy tank. The cap injector + med nos will keep your tank going under neuts.

My fitting skills / subsystem skills are all maxed. The electrons are a tight fit as it is with these subsystems: 1368.5 of 1368.75 powergrid is in use. So ions are not possible.

The same goes for the damage mod. You do realize this is setup kind of like a drone boat right? Basicly a tougher version of a myrmidon / eos, and not like a deimos / astarte.

The other t3 I've killed in my domi thought the same thing about their tank. Until they died. Even if your injector manages to keep it running, you don't have the dps to kill any decent bs before you run out of charges.
It has the same size drone bay, very similar damage bonuses, and very similar slot layout, how is it not like a deimos?
Also I think something is messed up with your powergrid. Power core multiplier has 1165 base pg, with engineering 5 that comes to 1456 and with the sub skill to 5 that's 1820.

Fake edit: I think you posted the fit with the wrong sub. With all 5s and augmented capacitor reservoir the numbers match.

Ah yes, you're right. I put the wrong subs on battleclinic.

I meant to use the augmented cap reservoir instead of the power core multiplier. It's updated now.

Ok look Riot, you just cannot active tank like this in PVP.

The proteus is a very good ship, but this isn't the way to do it.  Your junk DPS will limit you to engaging T1 ships and plated BSs that you hope don't have a large neut.

Put a 1600 plate on, give it 6 heavy ions with 2 mag stabs.  2 x trimarks and a T2 hybrid rig.

900 dps, 1300 m/s, and 130,000 eHP and a cap injector for emergencies.

If I wanted to do only 450 dps in my proteus, i'd be able to cloak, go through bubbles, and still have over 100,000 eHP!

Because if it's not solo he's going to be insta-dead?

I dunno, I own the ship also, and I wouldn't enjoying losing it because I thought I should bring a scalpel to a sword fight. or something like that =p
