Don't put tech 2 ccc's on a domi, they aren't needed and are a waste, and you cant fit 3 of them anyways. Trading one of the tracking links for a cr 2 and dropping to tech 1 ccc's makes you stable with one repper.

...This is not fast level 4s.  Drop a rep and the DC for 2 mag stabs.  Ditch the drone nav link.  Fit a Sentry damage rig.  And upgrade to 350s.

Whoops, putting the t2 ccc's on was an accident. My eyes automatically went for them for some reason...

And as for using the sentries, I've tried it and not only will they not hit ships that are orbiting me, reeling them in and spitting hammers/hobs out takes up more time than just leaving your ogre 2's out.

I'm going to keep the 250's though, as I get better tracking and more dps out of 6 250's than I would with 5 350's, there isn't enough powergrid to fit 6 350's.

One thing i have been doing with sentry's is dump then out and then orbit them or something at near their optimum. I have found that this helps with the little ship orbiting you. At under 10 k even garde have a hard time hitting the fast stuff.The down side is you have to leave them behind if you get in trouble and have to warp out.

I'll give the orbiting the sentries idea a shot, it sounds pretty good. I've never really liked sentries because I prefer to kite on certain missions, but they're awesome for taking out those annoying BSs that orbit you at 40km

If the group is over 50km off I shoot them to aggro, as they come close I set my drones on the faster movers. Being able to do that an extra 20km out really isn't a huge bonus actually, I've tried both ways.

Ok, so shoot them to aggro, verse tossing out sentries and killing them 80km off.  Which is considerably faster?

Sure shooting something at 80km with sentries is faster, but most missions drop you right on a pack or require you to move 30km between gates. Are you going to drop your sentries and move to the next gate, or get spend time getting to the next gate without killing anything and then drop them? And once your ogres are at the pack, there's very little movement they have to do to switch between targets.

This is my level 4 mission boat...

Cap stable with perfect skills at 37%, enough of a tank to hold out until you take out the incoming damage.

I've done all the missions with this without a problem, and I can say it's alot faster than the standard 5x cap recharger 2's.

Sometimes you'll need to kite which works surprisingly well considering the domi is such a slug, I usually kill any frigs that are scramming/webbing me, then any battlecruisers/cruisers, then battleships and finally the rest of the frigs/destroyers. I'll usually try to pick targets close to each other to reduce my ogre's overall traveling time.

Also, as a bonus, because of the tracking link my ogres will often one volley frigs and almost always one volley destroyers.
