Close-range, all-T1 Punisher for beginner mission runners. The modules are all affordable and easily replaceable should you lose your ship.
Notes: ***Blasters are used instead of lasers because this ship doesn't have a laser damage bonus, and blasters still use less capacitor energy after the ship bonus to laser capacitor usage. ***The Nosferatu is useful, but my capacitor holds up well until the enemy gets through my shields and I turn on the repair module. If you're doing missions that you're comfortable with, swapping it with an automated targeting system or a salvager also works well. ***I use Thorium charges because of their capacitor use bonus, but Antimatter charges work well also. Tactics: ***Use the afterburner to close the gap between you and your targets, then web them and engage with the AB on. ***MAKE SURE you set your Orbit/Keep At defaults to the Optimum Range of your weapons. ***Group the blasters and focus on 1 target at a time, but lock on to as many targets as you can. |
