How to fund this loadout with PLEX:

Current estimated total value, ISK: 464,918,173
Sell this many PLEX* to fund: 1
Convert this many ETC to PLEX: 1 Purchase ETC here

*You may only sell PLEX for ISK via the CCP Secure Transfer Method
You need to upgrade your Flash Player
With this fit you can solo anomolies in class 3 wormholes.

The fit is cap-stable with all mods running.

Bring the following crystals:

Scorch M (30km)
Amarr Navy Standard M (20km)
Amarr Navy Multifrequency M (10km)

Also bring nanite repair paste. The web will work over 18km if overloaded, which will help you a lote.

Good extra in this setup is a 5% damage implant for< medium energy turrets. They are pretty cheap (less than 10mil).

You can swap some faction candy out for tech2 to save some isk.

Basically you are 'speedtanking' the missiles in a way. The sig radius is pretty low 125m. And you can move at above 600m/s. This will reduce the phantasmata missile damage dramatically.
You have a fair hp buffer. And you can continuously run the dual rep. Try to stagger them so when the first is at half it's cycle start the second. This way you'll get a more constant rep.

Watch this movie to see me in a class 3 wormhole. Not this setup exact, a little variaton on the same theme though. It's regular t2/named fit with damage control / adaptive nano plating instead of the eanm's.

It's not a pure speed tank but it reduces the damage by a lot. A corpmate of mine does wormholes in a zealot often. With just one repper running his tank breaks. With one repper + afterburner on he's fine.

Riotrick, I'm not sure precisely how much missile damage it reduces, but it might be worthwhile to tailor your tank to the different damage distribution. An em and therm hardener setup would give you a better tank if you reduced the kin/expl from the missiles enough.

Your right, he's doing whats called signature tanking.  Highly effective, try a Halo set on an inty and you'll suddenly see a ridiculous tank emerge.  Crusader, 5200m/s out of gang, sig radius, 45.  That means you take absolutely 0 damage from just about everything, short of being 3x webbed down and swarmed with other inties.

This is the same concept, on a larger scale.  Interesting thing is its acutally pretty viable, and I hadn't thought of using the zealot in this way.

Edit:  The crusader example is a bit off, since its a combo speed tank/sig tank, but he's pretty much just sig tanking the rats.  In the crusader example, even if you get scrammed, your still pretty well off as your sig is still stupid small, so even if things are shooting at you while webbed and scramed, your still getting decimal point damage messages.

if you watch the video you'll see he's definitely also speed tanking...  a few course corrections cost him half-3/4 of his armour, so I'd say it qualifies as a speed tank

it's just not an all-out speed tank, but there is such a thing as overkill

Nice setup,  one problem though, whats the point of soloing sleepers if you cant salvage them? of course the drops are worth a little but the salv is an important part of making your trip worth the time. Also going to Wspace with out a probe launcher is risky.  Hope you're bringing a scout set to salve/explore.

    nice vid

Well, you can do them. However you are missing somethings. Scan probes are almost mandatory for prolonged stays in W-Space. What's going to happen if the Wormhole you entered from closes? How are you going to salvage any of those sleeper wrecks? Yes It's fun going into W-Space and killing sleepers, but you should at least think about what you can gain from it as well.

Aside from that, It's a good Zealot fitting so +1 on my end.

I use this setup to solo the anomolies. I have a second account that does the probing/looting/salvaging part. The second account is cloaked at a ss when actually doing the anomolies.

You could do this on one account as well offcourse. Just create an alt that can probe/salvage. Bring it into the wormhole, log off. Log your main in, bring it to the same wormhole, do the anomolies. Log off, log alt in, salvage/loot. Rinse & Repeat.

The point of the setup was being able to handle the anomolies solo. Not doing the probing/looting/salvaging parts. It works pretty well at that.

Oh and I do live in a wormhole with my corp btw. Not in a class 3, but in a class 5. We do those anomolies in remote rep gangs. The solo class 3 is just a way to make some iskies during the quiet times in corp. When we get our t3 production up & running I'll probably trade in the zealot for a legion. Have some nice setup ideas for that as well.

this is so not a speed tank. this setup takes advantage of explosion velocity from missile hits thats all. Learn what a speed tank is please. calling this a speed tank is like calling a passive drake with an invulnerability field an active shield tank cause of its one cap using mod.  this has an afterburner thats all its not a speed tank. Also it has a plate, that fact in and of itself almost proves its not a speed tank at all. if it were a speed tank then drop the plate and get a overdrive lol

Giving this setup a try some time later today. But from the video Riot put up I'm going to make a wild stab in the dark and say this is a good setup for Class 3 :D

What I like is that it's not boring and a mistake made can lead to a lost ship, which, strangely, appeals to me :D

I tried tengu in level 4s and without speeding its tank breaks, although only when running angel missions. Going over 400m/s means very nice sig tanking against missiles and even lazors or any other gun. Why people comment when they don't even try ? *sigh*

You have a +1 from me because you had the guts to try something so simple in there. I'm sure this made you billions by now.

Turelle : I would say that little mistake can be made easily in an unknown system. Doing it in a cheap ship makes is worth every bit of fun.

Sundiel : why do you bother aswering to such people ?

PS: people with lack of insight and no guts if you need to release some steam off go for a little jogging. it's healthier!

Aside from that, It's a good Zealot fitting so +1 on my end.

well umm u know sometimes u have a pos in w-space ^^ and umm sometimes u have it booked ^^  so umm yeah ^^

Yes it has large rigs bspotter, but that's probably because the fit is a few years old, at that time there were only one size of rigs rigs. Thus you had no choice what size to put on board. I still have an inty with large rigs in game... When the rig sizes came in all fitted rigs were converted to large, thus why you see old fits and some old ships in game still packing large rigs.

Ran this fit and soloed a C3 anomaly. I had to warp out many times, however I was able to complete the site. Just took an hour! My support skills are rather good as well. I love this ship, hope to try it again and see if maybe i can do better in a C3. Works wonders in a C2.

+1 For it making it through the mission. I did have some hull paint removed!
